Broughton village shop aims to support the local rural economy. We buy from independent, locally owned businesses, rather than national chains, a significantly greater portion of our money is then cycled back through our local economy, supporting local farms and firms — ultimately strengthening the base of our community.
We encourage regular customers to open a shop account. This a payment card, that you pre load with credit, using cash or a bank card. Pre paid cards not only help you to budget and save the need to carry cash, they minimise the bank charges that the shop has to pay when you make a bank card transaction, reducing our costs helps us to keep our prices competitive.
